Well, I must say that I do prefer the original yellow color.
My cover is 4 years old and has a lot of scratches but that's how we recognize that the unit is dived.

I used the special spray paint they make for use on plastics when I painted my evolution box black. Easy for touch-ups but so far its holding up really well.
